Prisma P
Standing type modular panels with up to 4000 A and IP30 – IP55 protection
Trustworthy
Developable
Simple functional systems
Schneider Electric specializes in low voltage equipment:
- Short circuit withstand
- Electromagnetic compatibility
- Protection of human life against electric shocks
- Protection of life and property against the risk of fire
- Protection of equipment against environmental conditions
- Coordination of protection devices
Your life and property are safe
You can be sure that the coordination between the Prisma solution and the switchgear and current distribution system has been tested on all types of switchboard architectures. In this way, the equipment functions flawlessly. Busbars are located in a sheltered area, depending on the form selection. The clearances between the conductors have been calculated to eliminate any risk that could cause leakage current. The switchgear mounted behind the faceplate leaves only the joystick exposed.
Wiring is carried out in special areas to prevent accidental contact with live parts. Tested enclosure manufacturing IEC compliant, providing full flexibility 100% of panel builders and contractors using the Prisma solution can prove that their switchboards are tested and compliant with IEC standards.
Assembly and installation also comply with standards. Thanks to the prefabricated Prisma solution and the consistency of the component set, assembly, wiring and installation can be carried out in compliance with IEC standards without any difficulties. Panel builders and contractors work efficiently, no matter how complex the specifications: the panels are reliable, their delivery and installation carried out on time.
Certificate is given as a result of the tests
Following the completion of the production, routine tests are carried out in accordance with the standards and the result is reported.

PRISMA PLUS
MCC
Single component solution
This solution includes a motor starter - controller that combines all the basic functions. for a motor feeder in one product:
- Protection against disconnection and short circuit (circuit breaker)
- Power control (contactor)
- Protection against overloads (thermal relay).
It can be used to build low and medium power motor feeders (up to 15 kW). has optimized dimensions and ensures continuity of service (total coordination)
Three component solution
Three separate devices are combined in this solution to perform various functions:
- Protection against disconnection and short circuits (magnetic circuit breaker or load disconnector fuse)
- Power control (contactor)
- Protection against overloads (thermal relay).
It can be used for different types of motor feeders, regardless of complexity or features. The separation between functions provides great flexibility in the selection of components. It also provides a way to meet certain installation and operating restrictions.
A two-component solution is possible for Prisma Plus fixed MCCs:
- GV2 P motor circuit breaker + model D contactor combination
- Does not allow selection in thermal relays (mechanical or electronic)
- It cannot be adapted to the specific requirements of certain “native” applications. ( Ex: incoming device fuse switch + contactor + thermal protection device).
